General Motors India has won three JD Power’s Automotive Initial Quality Study (IQS) awards for its Chevrolet Spark, Aveo and Optra.
Chevrolet Spark topped the IQS in the compact segment; Chevrolet Aveo topped the midsize segment category. And luxury sedan Chevrolet Optra won the Gold in the premium midsize segment in IQS
“The wins in both IQS and APEAL give General Motors India and our customer’s fantastic reasons to go out and celebrate Chevrolet’s fifth anniversary in India. We have put our best efforts behind each car we have built, and with these awards, the results are now here to be seen,” said P Balendran, VP at General Motors India.
Chevrolet brand grew by 74% in 2007 against the 14% growth of the industry. General Motors currently sells Spark, Aveo, Optra, Tavera and Captiva in India and plan to bring Hummer and Cadillac to India
