Skoda India, the Indian arm of the Czeck automobile manufacturer Skoda has introduced the Rapid Ultima in the Indian car market at an entry level price of Rs 8,30,000 (ex-showroom New Delhi). The newly launched car is a limited edition of the existing Rapid sedan and is part of a series of limited edition cars to be launched by the carmaker.
The limited edition Ultima has been launched in two variants and will be available at all Skoda dealerships across India for a limited period. Among the exterior changes from the existing Rapid sedan, the new limited edition Ultima includes redesigned projector headlamps, roof and side foil along with seven spoke alloy wheels, side plaque with ‘Ultima’ branding and door sill moldings.
The interiors of the car model have been upgraded with Garmin and Tom-Tom navigation, Bluetooth phone connectivity, an on board computer, a multi-function steering wheel, leather package, leather seat covers, etc. The airbags are available for the mid-level variants of the car model.
The carmaker is also offering a bonus scheme of Rs 15,000 along with a corporate benefit of Rs 10,000. Other attractive options include a 100 percent finance scheme and a monthly payment plan of Rs 9,999 EMI.
