Maruti Suzuki has launched the next generation of its most popular compact sedan new Maruti Dzire 2017 in India. The price of All New Maruti Dzire 2017 has been started from Rs. 5.45 lakh to Rs. 9.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The booking has already been started with Rs. 11,000. So far, the company has got 33, 000 bookings. At the same time, due to high demand, its waiting period has reached 8 weeks. Many changes have been made in the new and it is available in total seven variants in both petrol and diesel engines. Its automatic variants also have been introduced.

According to the company the new generation Dzire is based on the new Suzuki HEARTEC platform where the existing Baleno built. Company announced that, 33 thousand units of new Dzire have been already booked in just 11 days and 1,000 crores investment has been invested on the development of the new Dzire.

New Maruti Dzire 2017 Technical Details:
The 1.2-litre K-Series 4-cylinder petrol engine can generates 82.9 PS of power at 6000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm. On the other hand, the 1.3-litre DDiS 4-cylinder diesel engine produces 74.8 PS of power at 4000 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm. Both engines have a 5-speed manual and Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) transmission. The company claims that the petrol variants of the new Dzire will give 22 kmpl for both MT and AMT transmission while the diesel variants can deliver 28.40 kmpl of mileage for both MT and AMT transmission.
The new Dzire 2017 measures 3995 mm in length, 1735 mm in width, 1515 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2450 mm (grown by 20 mm). The ground clearance stands at 163 mm and has been lowered by 7 mm. Meanwhile, the height is shorter by 40 mm and wider by 20 mm.
