Isuzu Motors India has launched the 7-seater Isuzu MU-X SUV in India with 3.0-litre diesel engine in two variants options 4×2 at Rs. 23.9 Lakhs and 4×4 at Rs. 25.99 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). This MU-X model carries lot of design and styling from the existing D-Max pickup truck and built on the same platform, also it is the replacement version of the Isuzu MU-7 SUV model.
The premium 7-seater Isuzu MU-X is available in four colour options Silky White Pearl, Orchid Brown Mica, Cosmic Black Mica and Titanium Silver Metalic and it will compete against its rivals like Chevrolet Trailblazer, Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
7-seater Isuzu MU-X SUV technical details:
The Isuzu MU-X is available with only in 3.0-litre diesel engine that produces 177 PS of power @ 3600 rpm and 380 Nm of torque between 1,800-2,800 rpm. The engine is mated to 5-speed Automatic with sequential shift transmission. The 4×4 (four-wheel drive system) has “Terrain Command” control with ‘shift-on-the-fly’ 2-high 4-high selection at up to 100kmph. The company claimed fuel efficiency of MU-X of 13.8 kmpl.
The MU-X has 2845 mm of wheelbase and 220 mm of ground clearance, it measure 4825 mm in length, 1860 mm in width, 1840mm in height. Also it is available with 65-litre fuel tank capacity HDPE (High Density Poly Ethylene).
