Hyundai India, the largest car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer in India has witnessed a decline of 10.9 percent in its sales for the month of November 2013. The Korean automaker sold a total of 49,681 units in the month in comparison to 55,762 units sold in the same month in 2012.

Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President, Sales and Marketing, HMIL commented on the sales performance of the automaker attributing the decline in sales to ‘unfavorable macro-economic factors’ after the festival season resulting in low consumer sentiments and lesser customer enquiries.
