Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI), manufacturer of premium cars in India recorded its highest ever monthly sales in March 2008. The company sold 8,895 units in March 2008 as compared to 8,487 units in March 2007 and thus growing at 4.8%.
The company recorded sales of 20,436 units for the first quarter of 2008 20,436 units as compared to 18,021 units in the corresponding period last year recording a 13.4% increase.
The total sales for the period April 2007 – Mar 2008 were 62,802 units as against 61,325 units sold in Apr – Mar ’07 recording an increase of 2.4%.
The model wise break-up of sales in March 08 were City ZX – 6492; Civic – 2074; CRV – 329.
