General Motors India, the Indian arm of the American carmaker General Motors has launched a new version of the Cruze sedan at an entry level price of Rs 13,70,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new upgraded car model is claimed by the carmaker to feature improved fuel economy.
The new Cruze sedan includes new features such as a new automatic transmission and indicators on the side rear view mirrors. It is powered by a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission alternately, mated to the turbocharged 2-litre VCDi engine.
Among other new features of the revamped Cruze sedan are new front and rear bumpers, redesigned dual headlamps, new alloy wheels and fog lamps.
According to Mr. Rajesh Singh Vice-President (Sales, Marketing and After Sales) General Motors India, the Cruze sedan is the largest selling Chevrolet nameplate globally.
