BMW India launches updated BMW Z4 Roadster

BMW India, the Indian arm of the German luxury automobile manufacturer BMW has introduced an upgraded version of the BMW Z4 roadster in the Indian luxury car segment at an entry level price of Rs68,90,000 (Ex-showroom). The car model which is imported as a completely built-up (CBU) is a convertible and features a hard top.

The DPT or Design Pure Traction edition of the Z4 Roadster which is available only with petrol fuel option has been priced at Rs .69,90,000 (ex-showroom). Mr. Philipp von Sahr President, BMW Group India stated that the market size in India for such luxury cars continues to be small and witnesses about 500 car sales annually.

BMW India is also looking at expanding its dealership network and increasing the number of sales outlets from the current number of 37 dealers to 50 by the end of the year 2014 with the aim of having presence in all major cities in India as well emerging markets.
