Tata, Mahindra and Honda car prices high from April

Car prices are going to high from next month as the auto industry reported higher operational costs just a month after cut the prices against excise duty cut by government in the interim budget 2014.

The Tata Motors, Mahindra and Honda Cars India said to media it is going to happen because of higher input and operational costs. The Tata Motors will increase prices of passenger vehicle by 1 to 2 percent while Honda and Mahindra has not decided as discussions are going on, that how much prices they would be raise.

Last month, Mahindra & Mahindra had slashed the prices of its passenger cars between Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 49,000 and Honda Car India between Rs. 14680 to Rs. 44,741 after the cut the excise duty by the government.
