There has been speculation for months now and many spy shots have been doing the rounds and people have still been left wanting more information about the upcoming adventure bike from Royal Enfield. Finally, the legendary Indian bike maker has officially released images and videos of the bike on its website. From what we already know the Himalayan motorcycle is a brand new motorcycle form Royal Enfield and it will be aimed towards adventure riders, and it will be based in the entry-level adventure category, in which there is no other bike currently present. There are only mid-range and high capacity adventure bikes like the Triumph Tiger, BMW GS 1200, and the Kawasaki Versys. But now Royal Enfield is offering something affordable and more accessible.
The Himalayan will be fitted with a brand new engineered 410cc engine that will produce around 28bhp and 25Nm of torque. The bike looks solid and practical and it will probably take you over any road or surface terrain. There will also be plenty of optional features to choose from. The bike will be officially revealed to the world on Feb 2nd 2016, just before the Auto Expo. (Royal Enfield will not be taking part in the 2016 Auto Expo).
