Renault India, the Indian arm of the French automobile major Renault is considering launching a low cost car priced below Rs 4,50,000 in the Indian auto market. With this move, the carmaker plans to venture into the fast and volume growing segment of India.
According to Mr. Marc Nassif Head Renault India, the carmaker has not been addressing half of the market. While majority of the cars being sold in India belong in the sub Rs 4,50,000 price category, Renault currently does not have any car models in the segment.
