The Nissan Motor India has opened its fourth dealership in the state of Punjab in Ludhiana in order to increase its presence in the Northern India car market. The new dealership named Dada Nissan Limited has been inaugurated by Mr. G M Singh Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Hover Automotive India.
Speaking at the inauguration of the dealership, Mr. Singh commented that the company views the Punjab auto market as a region with a high growth in demand for cars attributable mainly to the high purchasing power of the customers in the state.
According to Mr. Takayuki Ishida Managing Director and CEO Nissan Motor India, the launch of the new dealership is part of the company’s national target of achieving 150 dealerships by the end of the year 2013. Currently, the company has 68 dealerships across the country.
Hover Automotive India handles the sales and distribution as well as service and marketing for Nissan Motor India in the country and is a partner with the Japanese automaker.
