McLaren MSO reveals the one-off 650S Project Kilo

The legendary sports car maker has introduced a very special McLaren Special Operations 650S, codenamed ‘Project Kilo’, and it is one of the most personalised, bespoke projects that they have undertaken to date. The car features an extensive list of carbon fibre options including the roof, diffuser, vent bezels, bespoke branded sill panels and instrument cluster bezel with integrated shift lights. Meticulous attention to detail including aluminium water and oil filler caps painted body colour with McLaren Orange logos, McLaren Orange painted inner door seams with MSO logos, body coloured interior switches with a satin black starter switch and a 24 carat gold plated exhaust heatshield. Finishing touches included a personal dedication plate on the driver’s door, a pair of bespoke designed keys, wheel centre caps painted with a McLaren Orange speed mark and lightweight titanium wheels nuts. The Kiwi on the engine cover is, of course, a reference to New Zealand, the birth place of the company’s founder, Bruce McLaren. Whoever buys this car will certainly own one of the most exclusive and unique cars in the world.
