Mahindra 2 Wheelers sales report in May 2011

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL) is a part of the US $ 11.1 billion Mahindra Group. The company’s sold 10,970 units in May 2011, a growth of 36% over the last year.

The company total cumulative sales from April to May 2011 stood at 20,525 units, a growth of 20% over the same period last year when the sales stood at 17,055 units.

The cumulative sales for the company have crossed a landmark figure of two and a half lakh units, while the Rodeo has crossed a figure of 1,00,000 units.

Mahindra 2 Wheelers’ Power Scooters cater to a range of consumer segments. The Mahindra Rodeo with its very innovative, contemporary features is popular amongst the Indian youth, while the Mahindra Duro is positioned as a family scooter. The Flyte is the Indian woman’s two-wheeler of choice. The stylish Stallio creates a niche for itself in the motorcycles category.
