London will criminalize supercar engine revving and loud music

It looks like the people of London have had enough of Supercar show-boating as the city is planning to ban supercar engine revving, loud music and rapid accelerations. As of now, Kensington and Chelsea council are currently discussing ways to control the supercar traffic on the streets, and they have gone so far as to say that they have “a detrimental effect on the local community’s quality of life”. If everything goes according to plan, the council will receive a green light to make law changes, and then there will be complete law against the high engine revving, loud music and rapid accelerations. If any driver is caught doing so they will be heavily fined and possibly get some prison time.

These new rules will also look to categorize driving in a convoy, honking the horn, and leaving the car running while stationary as a violation of the law. Tim Ahern, the council’s cabinet member for environment, environmental health and leisure said, “I know there has been a lot of coverage of expensive cars racing around Knightsbridge and also parking up and revving their engines. We want to take steps to discourage these drivers from their antisocial behaviour.”
