Jaguar Land Rover owned by Tata Motors has launches new Land Rover Freelander 2 in Indian at priced up to Rs. 38.7 lakhs. The car is locally-built model year 2013 from its facility in Pune, India available with 2 new variants called TD4 SE and SD4 HSE, both integrated with 2.2 litre diesel engine technology.
The 2.2 litre diesel TD4 SE (150PS) priced at Rs. 38.67 Lakhs and 2.2. litre diesel SD4 HSE (190 PS) has been at Rs. 43.9 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai.
The Freelander 2 features new designing language at exteriors and is equipped with a number of equipments, along with new colour options. Some of the key highlights features are: well designed centre console, fully integrated navigation system and a 7-inch touch screen with infotainment system. Moreover, the key dock in new model has been replaced with the passive start option, intelligent electronic parking brake, which will automatically adjust the brake force, depending on the slope of vehicle on which it is parked, rear view camera is also said to be new for the Freelander 2 in the Indian market as a part of standard accessory.
