Indian Motorcycle, the legendary century old US based motorcycle company has just concluded the second National Ride of Indian Motorcycle Riders Group in Mahabaleshwar. The Group brought in “Wheels of Change” for as many as 300 girl students by generously donating educational items as they decided to give a humane face to their regular motorcycling sojourn. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Dubey, Country Head & Managing Director, Polaris, who also heads Indian Motorcycle in India, said, “We got overwhelming response to our first IMRG ride at Daman in October, 16.
The second ride was organized at Mahabaleshwar from 3rd to 5th March, where riders came from all corners of the country. Our IMRG core committee decided to focus on a social cause and planned to recognize organisations involved in female children education and were touched to see the great work done in this field by Nachiketa School in Mahabaleshwar.” Indian Motorcycle Riders Group collectively decided to spread awareness on quality education for the girl child during this ride. They paid a visit to Panchgani, an educational Centre in Taighat, which is one of the small villages of Panchgani where as many as 700 students (out of which 350 are girl students) stay and get free English medium education.
