Fiat Chrysler Automobiles files paperwork for the Ferrari IPO

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.  announced that its subsidiary, New Business Netherlands N.V. (to be renamed Ferrari N.V.), has filed a registration statement on Form F-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of common shares currently held by Fiat. The number of  common shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined, although the proposed offering is not expected to exceed 10% of the outstanding common shares.  In connection with the initial public offering, Ferrari intends to apply to list its common shares on the New York Stock Exchange.

The registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
