Audi India, the Indian subsidiary of the German luxury automobile manufacturer Audi has launched the new 2013 Audi Q5 at an entry level price of Rs 43,16,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new car has been introduced in the Indian car market with revamped exterior design and upgrades in the interiors.
Among the new features in the compact SUV are the hexagonal grille along with sharper Xenon headlamps and LED DRLs. The car also gets new fog lamps as well as revamped layout of LED light bands in the tail lights. The changes in the car interiors include chrome detailing with high-gloss black fascia, Milano leather upholstery and a new Q design on the steering wheel.
The new Q5 also gets upgraded diesel and petrol engines powered by the 2.0TDI diesel engine that offers 177PS of power and the 2.0TFSI petrol engine that produces 225PS of power. The new diesel engine is claimed to offer a mileage of 16.66 kilometers per liter. The diesel engine is mated to a 7-speed S tronic transmission while the petrol engine gets a new 8-speed tiptronic transmission.
