Volvo Cars launches the 2017 V40 & V40 Cross Country adorning ‘Thor’s Hammer’

Volvo recently opened up a new showroom in Kochi and also unveiled a new version of the V40 and V40 Cross Country Equipped with a host of technology and features the V40 bears testimony to the continuing transformation of the Volvo marquee in the luxury segment. The V40 range comes standard with Pedestrian Airbag, an industry first and Volvo’s commitment to 9 decades of class-leading safety, which is more than any other premium car maker. At the launch of the new showroom alongwith the two new car launches Tom von Bonsdorff, MD, Volvo Auto India said, “The Launch of V40 & V40 Cross Country today along with the new 3S facility in the heart of Kochi emphasises our commitment to garner a 10% segment share in the medium term.

The car was well received when we launched the Cross Country in mid-2013 and the V40 in June 2015. With a refreshed look and even more features this version will find traction among young buyers across India. We are now geared up for leveraging the potential of the Kerala market with our new partner and 3S facility”. Volvo V40 & V40 Cross Country now gets the Full-LED Thor’s Hammer headlamp cluster, a new waterfall design grille with the large Ironmark (like the XC90 & S90) to make this car look even more cool. The interiors come with 3 different leather trims for the V40 & 5 leather trims for the V40 Cross Country including dual-tone. A new set of wheel design for both models enhance the look further. Prices start at Rs 27.2 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
