Swedish luxury car maker Volvo Car India announced its entry into the southern region with opening of its dealership in Hyderabad. The dealership will be in partnership with Talwar Cars Pvt. Ltd. and would be located at Road No 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Talwar Cars Pvt Ltd will open the doors for the consumers in South India in the last quarter of 2008.
At the signing ceremony, Paul de Voijs, Managing Director, Volvo Car India said, “We are pleased to sign the dealership with Talwar Cars and expand our network in Hyderabad as South India is an important market for us. The expansion of our dealer network signals the importance of the Indian market to Volvo. We believe that India holds tremendous potential for our brand and want to make sure that we fully capitalise on the opportunities available while at the same time providing the best possible services for our customers.”
Spread over an area of 300 square meters, the two showroom floors bring to life the Volvo brand values to the Indian customers. The showroom will have the same visual identity and design as other three Volvo dealers in India based on their programme – Volvo Next Face.

Volvo sells its SUV XC 90 and sedan S80 in India.
