Volvo Auto India, the Indian arm of the Swedish automobile manufacturer Volvo has introduced the upgraded versions of the S60 saloon and XC60 crossover in the Indian car market. The car models have been priced at Rs 29,90,000 and Rs 40,50,000 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The automaker has revamped both car models with improved interiors, new features and upgraded engines. The front façade of both cars have been broadened with wider grille and new lamp assemblies. The cars also get redesigned alloy wheels and exhaust. The multimedia system of the cars has been upgraded with a 7-inch touch screen and TFT instrument panel. While these features are standard for all variants of both cars, the automatic variants additionally get a three-spoke steering wheel with mounted paddle shifters.
The engines of the car models have been tweaked for improved performance as claimed by the carmaker. The upgraded versions of the cars hit the Indian car market during the festive season in India which is expected to garner higher sales for the carmaker.
