Nissan India has finally launched the refreshed version of Nissan Micra 2017 with the updated new features. The updated model is available in four variants levels – XL (CVT) and XV (CVT) in petrol engine while XL dCi and XL Comfort dCi are available with diesel engines. The price range start from of Rs 5.99 lakh and it goes upto Rs 7.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The vehicle gets lots of advanced connectivity features that come under Nissan’s global ‘Intelligent Mobility’ plan. But for the information, this is not the 5th generation Micra which is currently on sale in select international markets, may it come late next year for the Indian market. This is the updated version of the fourth-gen Micra or we can say the updated version of existing model.

Nissan Micra 2017 technical details:
The car has no any mechanical changes, it continue the same engine lineup – a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder in-line diesel and a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder in-line petrol engine. The diesel engine can generate 64PS of power at 4,000rpm and 160Nm of torque at 2000rpm. On the other hand the petrol engine has capacity to produce 77PS of power at 6000rpm and 104Nm of torque at 4400rpm. The car is available with both 5-speed manual transmission only in diesel, and an Automatic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) transmission only in petrol engine. The company claims that the petrol engine can delivers a mileage of 19.34kmpl and the diesel gives a mileage of 23.08kmpl.
The vehicle has 2450 mm of wheelbase and it measure 3825 in length, 1665 in width, 1530 (for petrol) 1525 mm (for diesel) in height. It has 251-litre of boot space and 41-litre of fuel tank capacity.
