Triumph Motorcycles, who recently celebrated the completion of their first year in India, introduced two new Tiger 800 models on March 12, 2015.The Tiger 800 XRx is more focussed to the world of road riding whereas the Tiger 800 XCx has a more off-road intent.
The new Tiger is equipped with the second generation 800cc liquid cool in-line-three cylinder. Both models include standard fit traction control and switchable ABS. They have three riding modes to control throttle response, ABS, and traction control. Other features include Ride by Wire (RBW), Switchable ABS (Antilock Brake System), Triumph Traction Control (TTC) and 4 Throttle Maps.

Triumph Motorcycles India achieved sales of over 1300 motorcycles in its first year with a pan-India reach with 10 fully operational dealerships. With the launch of these two new Tiger’s the varied portfolio will now boast of 13 motorcycles in 5 motorcycling categories. Triumph is also looking to expand its footprint in India, with 2 more dealerships coming up soon.
