Tork T6X – India’s first premium electric motorcycle launched

Tork Motors, makers of India’s first electric motorcycles unveiled the look of their first commercial motorcycle Tork T6X. Born on the race track and indigenously built as a culmination of seven years of extensive research and development, T6X has been developed ground up as a future of mobility for the smart modern urban commuter. Clubbed with a host of exciting features, the T6X will have many firsts to its credit in the two wheeler segment like on board navigation, storage, cloud connectivity, full digital display, quick charge and superior acceleration. It will connect with customer’s mobile device through Tork’s app to communicate its health, range, service alerts and customised riding profiles. Apart from these, the T6X boasts of a range of advanced safety features like ABS, CDS, anti-theft, geo fencing and daytime running lamp (DRL) among others. Tork continues to further its state-of-the-art electric motorcycle technology with their signature TIROS (Tork Intuitive Response Operating System), the intelligence that will power the T6X.

Apart from analysis and compilation of data for every ride, power management, real time power consumption and range forecasts, TIROS also likes to learn how you ride. Powered by lithium ion batteries, the T6X is engineered to travel at a top speed of 100 kmph, and runs 100 km on a single charge when plugged to a power socket. The battery can be charged up to 80% in an hour and full charge in two hours. Depending upon the usage of the bike, the battery life can last upto approximately 80,000 – 1,00,000km. T6X will be introduced in three markets of Pune, Bangalore and Delhi in the first phase. It will be available in three exciting colour options and can be pre-booked now at an irresistible promotional price of Rs. 1,24,999 (company selling price). Tork Motors is working towards building a robust charging infrastructure in the target markets. Currently the brand has already set up six charging points in Pune and aims to take the number to 100 by December 2016 in Pune.
