Tata Motors to launch face lifted Nano in November 2011

Tata Motors is set to come out with a face lifted version of the Nano in India in month of November 2011. The car will feature upgrades such as new suspension setup and anti-roll bar enabling better ride and handling. Moreover, the company has introduced a reworked steering geometry and optimized castor-angle to enable reduced steering effort. The engine will generate 38bhp of power over the current 35bhp.

The new Nano will be offered in new colors such as pearl-white, green and orange as well as refreshed interiors including a beige coloured dashboard and newly designed seats and fabrics, new front seat headrests and floor mats.

Known as the 2012 Nano, the car will also be given a rear view mirror on the passenger side and new wheel cap design. The price of the car is expected to remain the same as before. The company might offer a 900cc petrol engine option for the car by the end of year 2012.
