Skoda Auto’s Indian subsidiary Skoda India announced an increase in prices of all its models. A hike in the range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 would be effective from August 1, Skoda India said is a statement.
Commenting on the hike Skoda India Member of Board of Director for Sales and Marketing Mr. Thomas Kuehl said that the price hike has been necessitated by a variety of cost push factors like surge in freight costs and in prices raw materials. The company has made efforts to absorb maximum costs to keep the price rise marginal so that impact to our customers is minimised.
