French auto maker, Renault has set up Asia’s first International Logistics Centre near Pune. The centre will source auto components for Nissan, part of Renault group.
The automaker aims to source from the globally competitive centre to cater to the cars that roll out from plants in the emerging economies.
The company already has 30 suppliers lined up and expects the number to go to 50 by 2009 when auto components worth Rs 600 crore will be shipped out.
