Luxury sports car manufacturer Porsche has announced that it will be recalling 483 of its cars in India to repair and fix faulty headlights. The recalled cars would comprise of the Cayenne car models of the company manufactured in the year 2011 and 2012. The company has stated that the car’s headlight locking system needs to be worked upon.
The recall in India is part of Porsche’s global exercise to fix the headlight problem and the total number of Cayenne cars recalled globally is 1,00,000. According to a statement issued by the company, the in-house quality investigations led them to uncover the fault in the headlight module which may become detached if locked incorrectly.
The fault rework on the Cayenne car models is free of cost to the customers.
