The Porsche Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS has mid-mounted 3.4-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine that delivers an additional 15 hp compared to their “S” model counterparts. This means the Boxster GTS has 330 hp and the Cayman GTS has 340 hp. Torque has been increased by 7 lb.-ft. in each model: 273 lb.-ft. in the Boxster GTS and 280 lb.-ft. in the Cayman GTS. With the standard Sport Chrono package, optional PDK transmission and Sport Plus button activated, the Boxster GTS reaches 60 mph from a standstill in 4.4 seconds (4.7 seconds with manual transmission) and 4.3 seconds (4.6 seconds with manual transmission) in the Cayman GTS. The top track speed for the Boxster GTS is 174 mph (173 with PDK) and 177 mph (175 with PDK) for a Cayman GTS.
Alongside the new GTS sports cars, the 919 Hybrid and the 911 RSR racecars, and the 918 Spyder will also make their Chinese market debut in Beijing. This extraordinary lineup at Auto China reflects the rapidly growing interest in Porsche vehicles. China is the second largest single market for Porsche after the U.S.A. In 2013.
