Nissan India launches facelift Micra

Nissan India, the Indian arm of the Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan has launched a new revamped Micra hatchback on July 3, 2013. The new facelift model has been launched in addition to the low cost variant Micra Active.

The revamped Micra features a new CVT automatic gearbox in addition to the 5-Speed manual gearbox. The low cost variant, the Micra Active by the Japanese carmaker is priced at Rs 3,50,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new features of the facelift car model include changes in the exterior such as new headlamps, a new grille and alloy wheels. The length of the car has also been increased by 45mm in comparison to the earlier model.

The interiors also feature improved seats in addition to keyless entry, climate control and reversing camera. The mileage of the car has also been improved to 18.44 kilometers per liter for the manual transmission car variant, while the auto box equipped version offers 19.34 kilometers per liter (ARAI approved) as claimed by the carmaker. Then 1.5 liter diesel version of the car offers a mileage of 23.08 liters.
