The legendary German sports car maker has unveiled the facelifted 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S, and while the models are instantly recognizable, they do feature a new front fascia with revised air intakes and new LED day time running lights. They also get new door handles, updated taillights, and restyled 20-inch alloy wheels. The interiors have also been redesigned and get a new sport steering wheel with a rotary mode selector that has Normal, Sport, Sport Plus, and Individual settings. The driver will also be able to use the new Porsche Communication Management system and listen to music on a standard Bose audio system. When it comes to performance, the new cars get a new PSM Sport Mode button that alters the intervention threshold of the Porsche Stability Management system.
Both models are powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that develops an additional 20bhp. This brings the total output of the 911 Turbo to 530bhp, while the 911 Turbo S climbs to 570bhp. The Turbo accelerates from 0-100kmph in just 3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 320kmph. However, the Turbo S goes from 0-100kmph in 2.9 seconds before topping out at 330kmph. The cars will also be more fuel efficient thanks to an upgraded transmission with new gear change mappings.
