German luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has introduced the SUV M-Class in India at a price of Rs 56,90,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new SUV is the third generation of the car model and is expected by the company to be a hit in the Indian market.
According to Mr. Peter Honegg Managing Director and Chief Executive Mercedes-Benz, the company has launched the in line with its plans of introducing new products in the Indian market in 2012. The new SUV features customized settings for engine performance, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability programme (ESP), automatic transmission and electronic traction system.
The M-Class with a price reduction of almost 15 percent over its predecessor will compete with the BMW X5 and the Audi Q5.
