India’s second largest car maker Hyundai has launched the All New Hyundai Xcent 2017 in India with new stylish and attractive design look, advanced Hi-Tech features and also and a new 1.2-litre diesel engine along with existing 1.2-litre petrol engine. The petrol Xcent is available at priced range between Rs. 5.38 lakhs to Rs. 7.09 lakhs while the diesel version is between Rs. 6.28 to Rs. 8.41 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

The All New Hyundai Xcent 2017 is powered by proven 1.2-litre Kappa 4-cylinder Dual VTVT petrol engine that generates 83 PS power at 6,000 rpm and 11.6 kgm of torque at 4,000 RPM. This engine has 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission. The company claimed a ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 20.14 kmpl for the manual transmission and 17.36 kmpl for the Automatic transmission.
While diesel Xcent 2017 is now powered by a more powerful new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder U2 engine technology that produces 75 PS of power at 4,000 rpm and 19.4 kgm of torque between 1,750-2,250 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and it has ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 25.4 kmpl.
The car gets measures like Alternator Management System which help to improve fuel efficiency while and first-in Segment Wheel Air Curtains have been added to ensure minimised air turbulence around the wheel area resulting lower Cd (Coefficient of Drag), low NVH, increased fuel efficiency and stability of the car at high speed.
