Toyota launched the new 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis in India added with new features and style changes like new radiator grille and fog lamp, redesigned 3D bumper design and new advanced Bi-beam LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights and wide grille with round foglamp, new alloy wheels and many more.

New 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis Price (ex-showroom New Delhi):

The new Toyota Corolla Altis is available in four 1.8-litre petrol and two 1.4-litre diesel variants. The petrol variants have both manual and CVT (Automatic) transmission and available between priced tag of Rs. 15.87 lakh to 19.91 lakh while the diesel variants are available only with Manual transmission at price range between 17.36 lakh to 19.05 lakh.

New 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis Technical Details:

There are no changes in-trems of engine detail, the petrol Corolla is powered by the 1.8-litre Dual VVT-i 4-cylinder engine which generates 140 PS of power @ 6,400 rpm and 173 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. The diesel version has the 1.4-litre D-4D 4-cylinder with Variable Nozzle Turbo and Intercooler engine that produces 88 PS of power @ 3,800 rpm and 205 Nm of torque between 1,800 rpm and 2,800 rpm.

The petrol engine comes mated with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT (continuously variable transmission) with 7 Speed Super CVTi with Sport Mode and Paddle Shift while the diesel engine has a 6-speed manual transmission.

The 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis will compete against segment cars like new-gen Hyundai Elantra, Skoda Octavia, Volkswagen Jetta, diesel Renault Fluence and diesel Chevrolet Cruze.
