Motorpoint Adds another UK Model to Stock List – International

Sharnelle GuestAs a company made and built in Britain, Motorpoint, the UK’s leading car supermarket, has added another home grown UK model to its stock list in the form of Sharnelle Guest, who is on a quest to represent England at the American Dream Pageant, with the eventual winner being crowned ‘Miss World’.

Motorpoint is sponsoring Sharnelle (19), from Nottingham, as she travels to London to compete in the pageant which saw over 2,000 girls apply for the chance to represent England. Sharnelle has made it to the final 50 ladies who will be vying for the coveted Miss England title on 20th October, which will see the winner travelling to the Bahamas in December to represent their country as well as claim a prestigious modelling contract as a prize.

Sharnelle has experience of representing England in the Miss Motors World competition over in Cannes and Monaco, and will do the same in 2012, making an appearance on the starting grid of the Monaco Grand Prix as well as other events. Sharnelle’s other achievements include being crowned Miss Teen Nottingham in 2009, as well as being an accomplished dancer and actress.

The sponsorship will help fund Sharnelle in her dream to become Miss England. Sharnelle said: “I love doing pageants as they make you more confident, are good fun and give you plenty of opportunities by opening doors. I want to win the American Dream Pageant because representing England has always been a dream and I would feel very proud to win and be one step closer to trying for the world title.

“Motorpoint is a great representative of the UK having been firmly established and built in Britain, so I am really grateful that they are helping to give me the chance to pursue my goal to become Miss England.”
