Mercedes-Benz to showcase Concept A-class at Auto Expo 2012

Mercedes-Benz has announced its plans for the Delhi Auto Expo 2012. It will showcase the A-Class concept with new designs depicting the company’s new design language. The company will for the first time in India put on display its new generation of compact cars at the event in January 2012.

The company has also decided to display the future technologies that it has been working upon such as the Fuel-Cell technology. Mercedes-Benz India plans to have the largest stall at the Auto Expo 2012 with more than 10 cars on display. It will also allow car sports enthusiasts to enroll for the Mercedes-Benz JPSI Performance Driving Academy which is expected to be launched by the company in order to provide a platform to the racing talent in India.

In the year 2011, the company has had a growth of 31 percent, selling 6698 units in the period January to November 2011 against 5110 units sold for the same period in the year 2010.
