Mazda to enter Indian market soon

The frenzy of auto giants setting up shop in India is not over just yet, as there are still a few other major players who will soon enter the Indian market. It seems the first of these will be Mazda, and this can be confirmed because we have already seen a Mazda CX-5 crossover being tested on Indian roads, in Gurgaon to be more specific. The CX-5 is a 5 seat crossover SUV that looks very strong on the roads and has some decent power outputs and would compete with cars such as the Honda CR-V. Mazda is no stranger to good looking and fast cars as their portfolio holds some legendary vehicles. Not to mention all their cars come with some amazing features and technology thanks to their SKYACTIV platform. The car that we spotted has a 2.0 litre petrol engine that produces around 155bhp and comes with an automatic transmission or 6-speed manual, and while there is a larger spec 2.2 litre petrol engine available in the global market we are not quite sure when and which models will be offered in India, but we are happy that yet another international car maker is coming our way.

  1. Wankel engine are not applied in all Mazda products I guess…. but mostly horizandal oppose type of IC engines are commonly used..
Its also one of my question though…

  2. Yaa, we heard earlier also that Mazda entering Indian market. Its good, one more Japanese car model will be there in Indian market.

  3. Mazda cars are one of the finest cars. The philosophy is based on zoom zoom concept. The rotary engine is mastered by them and comes only in RX8 sports car. Other models Mazda2, Mazda3 and Mazda6 cars are amazingly on road and can steal attention of Indian customers for sure.
