Maruti Suzuki has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with one of India’s top B-Schools, the International Management Institute (IMI), to enable its executives to gain a superior management education. The company will sponsor its executives for the highly rated PGDM (part-time) program at IMI which has its campus in Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi. The three-year program will include evening classes on Friday and Saturday and day classes on Sunday, which would help the working executives to efficiently manage their work and education.
This step by the carmaker has been taken in order to develop its executives into better business managers and to equip them with specialized skills and suitability for future leadership. Established in the year 1981, IMI currently has campuses in Bhubaneswar and Kolkata as well. For years, the management institute has been conducting management development programs for industry personnel and recently concluded a 3 week training program for senior executives of The Reserve Bank of India.
