Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer in India has officially launched the CNG version of the its newly launched Celerio hatchback at a price of Rs 4,68,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new CNG version of the Celerio car model will be available with a manual transmission in the VXi variant.
According to Mr. Manohar Bhat Vice President (Marketing) Maruti Suzuki India, the new bi-fuel CNG version of the Celerio will provide more fuel choices to its customers and help it further strengthen the brand in India.
The fuel efficiency of the Celerio CNG or Celerio Green is claimed to be 31.79 kilometers per kilogram. The CNG portfolio of the carmaker features the iGPI technology and has been incorporated into car models such as the Alto 800, the Wagon R, the Ertiga, the SX4 and the Eeco.
