India’s largest automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) expects its exports to witness a decline in the fiscal 2012-13 due to the continued sluggish sales in global markets. Mr. R C Bhargava Chairman MSI has stated that the exports are likely to be similar to 2011-12 or may even decline further.
The exports of the company in the fiscal 2011-12 declined by 7.9 percent selling 1,27,379 units to global markets such as Europe, Middle East, South Asian markets and Latin America.

According to the forecasts, the company is likely to sell 1,50,000 diesel cars in 2012-13. On the other hand, it expects petrol car sales to fall by almost 50,000 units, says Mr. Bhargava.
