Maruti Suzuki Estilo all set to attain the milestone of 200,000 sales mark

Maruti Suzuki Estilo is all set to achieve the milestone of 200,000 units’ cumulative sales, in the domestic market in the month of June, 2011.

Commenting on its growth in India, Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Chief General Manager Marketing, commented, “Maruti Suzuki Estilo has found a great appreciation among style conscious buyers in India. Estilo`s success in the domestic market is reflected in its high growth of more than 25% in last fiscal.”

Maruti Suzuki has been working to expand its presence in several ASEAN markets like Taiwan, Laos, Indonesia and Malaysia. Maruti Suzuki Estilo, launched as Karimun in the Indonesian market has clocked exports of over 16,900 cars in 2010. “We are delighted at the success of the Estilo with the customers in the South East Asian markets. This international popularity is a testament of attributes like high product quality and excellent ‘cost of ownership` which have been appreciated by the customers both in domestic and international markets,” commented Mr. Srivastava on the success of the Estilo in the South East Asian markets.
