Mahindra & Mahindra, the Indian sports utility manufacturer has launched a new variant of the Xylo multi utility vehicle in the Indian car market, namely the Xylo D2 Maxx. The new variant of the car model has a seating capacity of 9 persons.
The Xylo D2 Maxx is powered by a 2.5 liter mDI CRDe diesel engine which delivers power of 93.7bhp and 22.4 kilograms of torque. The mileage of the MPV is claimed by the Indian carmaker to be 14.95 kilometers per liter.
The new 9-seater variant features black bumpers and wing mirrors and is priced at Rs 7,12,000 for the BS-III variant. The MPV competes with the Sumo Gold by Tata Motors, the Enjoy by Chevrolet, the Ertiga by Maruti Suzuki and the recently launched Stile by Ashok Leyland.
