Land Rover launches the upgraded India-made Freelander 2

Land Rover has launched the India-made revamped Freelander 2 Model Year 13 in the India car market. The compact SUV is being manufactured at the company’s Pune facility and sports a number of additions and upgradations in comparison to the existing car model.

The new features and additions to the Freelander 2 include a premium overhaul, new colors, revamped exterior design and upgraded equipment levels. The interiors have also been upgraded with a new center console, an integrated navigation control along with a 7-inch touch screen audio system. With these changes, the company claims the new SUV to be more comfortable and convenient to drive.

The car model also includes certain hi-tech additions such as a ‘Passive start’ instead of the key dock, an intelligent electric parking brake for parking on slopes and a rear view camera capability as a standard feature.

According to Mr. Rohit Suri Vice President Jaguar Land Rover India, the new Freelander 2 features a more premium look and feel in comparison to the existing model due to the higher standards of safety and design as well as its all-terrain capability.
