India’s leading and top car makers have been slashed the prices of their models range according to the new excise duty cut in interim budget 2014, and these makes are Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai Motor India, Honda Cars India, Nissan Motor India, Volkswagen India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Fiat India, Audi India and Mercedes-Benz.
Tata Motors, General Motors and Toyota said to media that they would pass the entire benefit to the customers according to new excise duty cut and they are currently working on the details of the exact reductions.
Honda Cars India announced the price cuts across its model range about Rs. 14,650 to Rs 44,741, the Honda City cut of Rs 24,000.
Volkswagen Polo cut prices between Rs. 18,000 – Rs. 31,000 variants based. Volkswagen Vento would be price reduced between Rs 14,500 – Rs 27,000 and for the Jetta it would reduced by Rs. 38,000 – Rs. 51,000.
The refreshed version of Chevrolet Beat cut prices of Rs. 12,000 and Tavera gets a cut of Rs. 45,000 to Rs 49,000 variant based.
