Japanese car maker, Honda has showcased the BR-V prototype at the Gaikindo Indonesian International Auto Show. The car has been developed specially for the Asian markets. The BR-V crossover clubs the appearance of an SUV with the spaciousness of an MPV. Under the hood, the BR-V will feature a 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine that produces 120bhp and 145Nm of torque. This power is channeled through a six-speed manual gearbox, with automatic transmission also available as an option. Safety features on Honda’s latest offering include multiple airbags, ABS, Vehicle Stability Assist as well Hill Start Assist.
The BR-V will first hit the Indonesians roads in 2016 before making its debut in other parts of the world, including India.
