Hyundai Cars India, the largest car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer in India will be showcasing the upcoming compact sedan version of the recently launched Grand i10 hatchback at the Indian Auto Expo 2014 in February 2014.
The Korean automaker is currently testing the new compact sedan which is expected to compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki DZire and Honda Amaze. The new car model will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options.
While the petrol version of the compact sedan will be powered by 1.2 liter petrol engine which with offer 82bhp of power and 114Nm of torque, the diesel version will be equipped with the 1.1 liter 4-cylinder engine which will offer 70bhp of power and 160Nm of torque. Both versions will feature 5-speed manual transmission in addition to a 4-speed automatic transmission for the petrol version.
