Hyundai India launches the Eon LPG variants

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) launched three new variants of the Eon small car on January 16, 2012 with prices higher than the existing models by up to Rs. 7,000. The new variants, namely the ‘D-Lite+’, the ‘Era+’ and the ‘Magna+’, have been launched by the company with a view to boost its sales in the small car segment by offering extra value to the customers, says Mr. H W Park HMIL Managing Director and CEO. The new launches are also available with LPG options priced Rs. 27,000 higher than the normal price tag.

The ‘D-Lite+’, lowest priced among the newly launched variants at Rs. 2,98,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), features air-conditioning and power steering in comparison to the existing D-Lite with AC option priced at Rs. 2,91,000. The ‘Era+’ variant priced at Rs. 3,12,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) is equipped with additional features such as front power windows and central locking. The highest model ‘Magna+’ is available with an additional feature of a two-din audio system with USB at a price tag of Rs 3,42,000 (ex- showroom Delhi).

The costlier LPG versions of the new variants are available with a factory-fitted petrol tank and an additional LPG tank with a two year warranty by the company.
