Honda Cars India launches Brio automatic at Rs 5,74,000

Honda Cars India, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda has introduced the automatic version of the hatchback Brio with an entry level price of Rs 5,74,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs 5,99,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top automatic car model.

The new automatic version of the car model has been launched in response to the feedback from dealers and customers about the automatic version’s suitability for the stop-go traffic conditions in India, stated Mr. Jnaneswar Sen Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Honda Cars India.

The Brio hatchback is the first car model with 5-speed automatic transmission in its segment in India. The automatic car is equipped with a 4 cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and is claimed to offer a mileage of 16.5 kilometers per liter.

Along with the new automatic version, Honda has also launched a revamped manual variant of the hatchback at a price of Rs 4,26,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) with a new audio system along with body colored door handles on the exterior.
