General Motors India plans to go into used car business

General Motors India (GM) plans to go into the used car business to drive the sales up. GM follows into the footsteps of Maruti True Value, Hyundai Exchange, Honda Auto Terrace, Ford Assured.

General Motors used to sell cars under the Opel brand from 1996 before the presence of Chevrolet brand.

The Chevrolet brand has been present in India since 2003 and sold 66,543 units of its vehicles in India last year.
